Other notable exceptions are Madden 22 coins Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill, who is the highest speed score of all of Madden at 99. Hill is certainly fast, and maybe we're splitting hairs here however his maximum career speed of 22.8 mph has been only fourth place on the list since 2017.3 In addition, his current average weekly speed, while very respectable, isn't even close to his 50th place in the league.
Two Baltimore Ravens teammates also make the list as somewhat underrated speedsters. Lamar Jackson appears to be performing slower this season maybe due to ongoing back injuries. His maximum speed average per game of 19.4 miles per hour last season was nearly a whole mile faster than the speed he has been running this season. Madden is unbothered, though. The 96 speed score Madden offers Lamar halfway through the year is almost 11 points higher that his model-based score.4
Middle linebacker Patrick Queen is a stronger example of overestimating. The 2020 first-round pick's speed data is less than what EA typically requires of an athlete with a 90 speed score, and Queen is slowed considerably during his sophomore year and has a max speed of 17.1 1 mph by 2021.
Last but not least, Keenan Allen is still mut coins underrated even if he's just slightly. He should ask for the speed rating to increase by two or three points -He's earned it.
